Cashmere's natural ability to regulate temperature is extraordinary. In cold seasons, cashmere goats rely on their coarse outer hairs for wind protection, while the undercoat provides warmth. Each autumn, the fine under-hair of cashmere goats begins to grow, shedding at the following spring. During this time, local herders collect the finest cashmere fibers by hand, using specially designed combs. These are the premium raw materials that Enndou selects for its collection.

Each goat yields only about 150 grams of desirable fiber after removing coarse hairs, with an average diameter of just 15 microns—resulting in an ultra-soft touch. Though the undercoat accounts for only one-fifth the weight of sheep wool, its insulation is up to eight times greater. The fibers are graded by color and quality, with white cashmere prized as the finest, followed by blue and purple varieties.

Enndou sources its raw materials exclusively from regions renowned for premium white cashmere, handpicking the finest fibers to spin into yarn for clothing.

During the selection process, skilled artisans conduct meticulous inspections of every bale of cashmere, ensuring it is free from impurities and damage, maintaining its pure, natural state.
